ABOUT THE FOUNDERS
JILL MILLER
Jill is a pioneer in forging relevant links between the worlds of fitness, yoga, athletics, massage, and pain-management, having studied movement and the human body for more than 30 years.
She is the author of the best-selling books, BODY by BREATH, and THE ROLL MODEL, and creator of the fitness formats Yoga Tune Up® and The Roll Model® Method. Miller is also a contributing author to the medical text, FASCIA, FUNCTION and MEDICAL APPLICATIONS.
Known as the Teacher’s Teacher, Jill has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Shape, Men’s Journal, Good Housekeeping, Women’s Health, Yoga Journal, Self, and on the Today Show, Good Morning America and featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network. She has trained thousands of movement educators, clinicians, and manual therapists to incorporate her paradigm shifting self-care fitness programming into athletic and medical facility programs internationally.
Jill is a wife, mother of two children and a rescue dog, a dark chocolate lover and has recommitted to her first love, singing.
ROBERT FAUST
Robert is an entrepreneur with a focus on building businesses in niche markets who was inspired by the work of Jill Miller when he experienced how her work helped him (and so many others) to get out of physical pain. Wanting to create a business that served a greater good, he found that in the work of Miller and convinced her she needed to serve a much broader population, and in 2009 Tune Up Fitness was born.
Prior to Tune Up Fitness, Faust pioneered the concept of pre-show advertising at Arthouse Cinemas with his company Arthouse Marketing Group, which he founded in 2002 and sold in 2008.
In 2000, as the internet was converging with entertainment, Faust co-founded MediaTrip.com, an online entertainment company that developed entertainment properties online to sell to traditional media. And in what also feels like a lifetime ago, he founded the Los Angeles Film Festival, which debuted in 1995 and was later sold to Film Independent in 2000.
Robert is a husband, father of two children and a rescue dog, and is finally learning to play guitar. |
