Passport America invented the 50% Discount Camping Club and was founded in 1992 with a dream and a mission “To promote and enhance the RV lifestyle by providing a service that manifests industry leading savings, family values and a lifelong community”. Thirty years later…..this dream and mission still remains and rings true. Though, the idea has often been imitated, Passport America is still the best value in Discount Camping. Our once tiny club has grown into the world’s largest 50% Discount RVing community and camping network of affiliated campgrounds – with more than 100,000 members and Over 1,100 camping locations.

Passport America prides itself in providing members and campground partners alike with the best possible club that rewards everyone in the program! The club became what it is today based on the beauty of a simple idea: filling up empty campsites without the huge expense of advertising. Early on, Passport America quickly became a win-win situation for both campers and participating campgrounds alike. By affiliating with Passport America for free, campgrounds have since saved thousand of dollars on marketing costs while earning revenue by filling their empty sites and camper’s save well over their membership costs in just a few nights stay or less at participating parks (many saving hundreds each year).
